    Great episode, and congrats on surpassing the century mark.In regards to the question someone asked about FCPX’s renaming of imported files (ie: 2012-10-24 10_21_04 (id).mov), I have some clarification. When you import a file into FCPX and you select “Copy Files to Final Cut Events Folder” it renames the imported clips to create a unique ID for each clip. If you do not check the “Copy Files to Final Cut Events Folder” then it will create alias’ to the original file with the original file name.One reason that this is good, is if you back up the entire contents of your card, like @chrisfenwick suggested, if ever your imported event media becomes corrupt, reimporting the media will usually solve your problem. You might need to reconnect or modify event references but it does comes back.Cheers

    O’Clair’spieceon color flow was cool but not applicable to FCPX — as they no longer have the color wheels and a way to select black and white. But using gray cards and color cards is a great reminder. Wish there was a color wheel plug-in like the old one in FCP 7. Maybe CrumplePop can build one if there’s a market.
